Manama is one of the lowest risk cities in the Middle East, with a rating that puts it ahead of international business hubs such as Milan, Lisbon, Istanbul and Moscow, according to findings from global human resources specialist Aon Hewitt. The 2012 People Risk Index, which measures risks that organisations face with recruitment, employment and relocation, ranks Manama 49th among 131 cities worldwide.
